Welcome to the River Raisin Jazz Festival! Located in St. Mary's Park on the banks of the Historic River Raisin in Beautiful Downtown Monroe, Michigan and held the 2nd weekend in August each year, the festival is a tribute to the arts and is dedicated to the strong cultural history of Monroe!
Established in 2002 by Producer John Patterson, the festival has hosted the biggest names in Jazz. David Sanborn, Chuck Mangione, Spyro Gyra, Earl Klugh, Chris Botti, Ray Parker Jr, Russ Freeman & The Rippingtons, Chuck Loeb, Nelson Rangell, Alexander Zonjic and many, many more.
We have also hosted spectacular regional and local groups with diverse specialty and creative works unmatched in the genre.
